OMRON, the world’s largest single-brand relay manufacturer, has announced the launch of its latest industrial 6mm electromechanical relay – the G2RV-ST. This new design offers machine manufacturers and panel builders the ideal solution for compact panels and equipment, while providing all the durability and reliability required for industrial applications.
The G2RV-ST relay is a pre-assembled 6mm slim relay with an industrial pin. Its new design offers easy wire inserting thanks to an angled inclination and 2.5 mm2 wire dimensions. In addition, screw wiring with anti-loss structure and OMRON’s unique Push-In Plus technology make installation and maintenance a breeze. The larger contact surface of the industrial-quality pins does not bend during maintenance and provides excellent connection, ensuring reliability and a longer lifespan.
Testing and inspection of the relay are easy thanks to a LED that indicates when the coil is powered up, a mechanical flag that indicates the movement and position of the contacts, and a lockable test switch that allows for testing of panel, machine or system functionality. Additionally, the relay fall protection features a security lever that prevents relay misuse and keeps the relays firmly in place, preventing falls caused by external impacts.
The G2RV-ST relay features a short bar that is easy to cut and provides a physical sensation of a secure connection. Additionally, OMRON's harmonized labelling concept ensures that labels for the G2RV-ST relay and other OMRON sockets are of the most common dimensions (5x10) and are designed to be fully compatible with each other, providing a consistent and streamlined labelling solution that is both user-friendly and efficient.

It is often seen in panels to control systems for wind turbines, packaging machines, and as an interface unit for the PLC.
