REACH Regulation
At OMRON, compliance with all applicable legal obligations is a core part of our corporate culture. We continue to take all necessary steps to fulfil our responsibilities under the EU REACH Regulation.
REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006) governs the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals within the European Union. It came into force on 1 June 2007 and has since evolved to address emerging chemical safety concerns and streamline regulatory processes.

We are fully aware of our responsibilities under REACH and remain committed to:

- Providing accurate and timely information to downstream users.
- Avoiding liability issues through proactive compliance and transparent communication.
Product REACH SVHC Information
The Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) is maintained by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and updated regularly.
We continuously monitor whether any SVHCs are present in our products or packaging materials at concentrations above 0.1% by weight. If such substances are identified, we:
- Notify ECHA as required under Article 7 of REACH.
- Provide safety data sheets and relevant information to our customers under Articles 31 and 33.
- Submit SCIP notifications in accordance with the Waste Framework Directive.

The improvement of environmental performance throughout the entire lifecycle of products is tackled more effectively when attention is paid to it at the design phase. We constantly monitor the development of this set of Measures and take the necessary actions when required.
