LVS-958x Series Desktop Barcode Verifier
The LVS-958x series is a high-performance handheld solution for off-line barcode verification to ISO/IEC and MIL-STD-130N standards. Featuring a high-resolution 5.0 megapixel camera, the LVS-958x reads and analyses linear (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) barcodes up to 76.19 mm wide and up to 57.15 mm tall. The LVS-958x verifies multiple barcode types, including any combination of linear, 2D (Data Matrix, QR Code, and Aztec Code), and stacked linear (PDF 417, Micro PDF and Composite Codes). Powered by a 3.0 m USB 2.0 cable, the LVS-9580 verifies barcode labels and direct part marks (DPM) located on a wide range of surfaces including corrugated cardboard boxes, shipping containers, plastics, composites, and metal surfaces.

- Software automatically selects best lighting performance from integrated red or white dome and 30° angle lighting
- Validates printed barcodes to ISO/IEC, ANSI, GS1, and UDI print quality standards

The LVS-9580 and LVS-9585 Series are USB plug-and-play portable barcode verifiers designed for fast, accurate, and standards-compliant code grading wherever it’s needed. Their lightweight, handheld format makes them ideal for use on the production floor or in inspection areas where mobility and flexibility are essential.
Available in both HD (High-Definition) models for small or high-density symbols and DPM (Direct Part Mark) versions for challenging surfaces and industrial marking methods, the series delivers reliable, repeatable verification performance across a wide range of applications.
The LVS-9580 and LVS-9585 Series verifiers are designed to fully comply with the key ISO/IEC standards required for accurate and repeatable barcode quality assessment. They meet ISO/IEC 15415 for 2D symbol grading, ISO/IEC 15416 for linear barcodes, ISO/IEC 29158 for DPM verification, and ISO/IEC 15418 for data structure requirements.
The devices also conform to the verifier performance standards ISO/IEC 15426-1 and ISO/IEC 15426-2, ensuring consistent, reliable grading results. With support for all relevant ISO/IEC symbology specifications, the LVS-9580 and LVS-9585 deliver dependable, standards-based verification across a wide range of industries and applications.
